Why is #ZT moderated (+m)?

We keep the channel moderated mainly because there may be multiple users in #ZT requiring assistance.  Keeping the channel moderated allows us to help one user per #ZT staff member, without potential interference from those users who are still waiting.  Also, it ensures that the channel will be relatively free from non-necessary chatter.

How can I become a #ZT helper?

There is an online application form on this website.  At any time, #ZT may or may not be accepting applications; if the application is open, a link will appear on the left-side menu.

Please be advised that #ZT has a very strict screening program for potential helpers, and users with a questionable history on Undernet are generally not accepted.

How can I become an IRCop?

Becoming an IRC Operator on Undernet is not something that happens on a regular basis.  The only ways to become an IRCop are to own/manage an Undernet server (see the Routing-Com page) or to be asked by a current server administrator.  As the latter rarely occurs, and very few server applications are accepted, it is understandable that very few people ever become IRCops.
